Now retired ( managed to do it early ) Always had a fascination with photography - don't know why. Had my own studio ( a few years ago ) used to do portrait and wedding photography and some glamour when I had the time.Lived in the south of England most of my life but moved to the bleak cold wilderness of the north of England a couple of years ago.I say the bleak cold wilderness as it is the impression everyone in the south has of the north of England.Obviously they have never visited it but it is wonderful for hills mountains and lakes.Never really grew up still love steam trains and oh how I miss them and the peace and tranquillity of my younger days.

Had a look at your gallery...some great images you have.
Like to live in your area a while..probably wear the camera out.

Glad you like the pictures. As for retirement..it is something you still have to look forward to...unless the goverment increase the retirement age any more
Sometimes, it's quite nice to just slow down and really look at the world around you.
