This is a combination of two images.
The bridge is an old pack horse bridge in Lancashire. It connects the tiny village of Wycoller to the remains of a large house just across the stream called Wycoller Hall.
The bridge is called Sally's Bridge and was named after Sally Owen, mother of the last squire of Wycoller Hall, Henry Owen Cunliffe.
The bridge is also interesting in as much that Charlotte Bronte often visited the area on her long walks across the moors and in fact the hall that is a little further along the track is thought to be were she based Ferndean Manor in the novel Jane Eyre

The cottage is an old Smithy in Northumberland dating from the 18th century. I was quite fascinated by the horse shoe frame around the door way.
Needs a full view to appreciate it

Both images are my own.
If anyone wants to use either image please ask me.

This is so beautiful! I like the bit of history you tied into it too, Bronte is a favorite of mine  Do you have the image with the bridge that I could see separately? :)

Wow, I love this! I can't even tell you put two photos together and I have a good eye. ;) The photos and locations are beautiful. I'd actually like to feature this combination photo on my blog as a Fantasy Home. I've been doing that periodically. You would get full credit and your dA address posted too. If you want, you can check out my blog at [link] I can't believe how pretty and serene this looks. I guess I would be curious to see the original of the cottage, if possible. Please consider my request and I hope to hear from you soon.:trophy::winner:
