Lacock Village - Wiltshire. Lacock is famous for its abbey , built upon the foundations of a former nunnery, and for being the home of Henry Fox Talbot famous for his contributions to the invention of photography. The village itself dates from the 13th century and has many lime washed half-timbered and stone houses and was used as a location in the TV and film productions of Pride and Prejudice, Moll Flanders and Emma. The Abbey also featured in the recent Harry Potter films.
