Your work is beautiful!  One day I wish to visit some of the locations in your images and shoot some fantasy sets with models.

Incredible photography! :) Especially this one:

When you were taking it did you happen to notice the giant white mansion behind you? It's the YHA Hostel for Dewentwater and belongs to a couple of friends of the family. I've been down there numerous times, though not to take photos in such depth ~ not been down there for years now but as I was searching for a photograph to show my other half of where we should go on holiday next year I saw this and it bought back such fond memories! :)
Thank you x

Hello Vicki,

Sad to say I didnt see the house but I have before. We parked the car further down the lake and I rushed back there to get the shot before the conditions change which a lot of times they do in the lakes.

Its just along from Keswick, love Keswick, great sausage rolls in the high street bakery. Trouble is they upped the parking charges to something stupid. Pity really because we used to go for walks all around there, stop off at Keswick, wander around, buy a few pies and cakes to take home with us but I am damned if I will pay near 3 or more just to park the car for an hour, point of principle really, they need visitors and I dread to think what the businees rates are for the shop owners in Keswick. Take your other half down to Buttermere early on a calm morning, it is stunning and if your feeling energetic climb Haystacks, the resting place of Wainwright, not too hard at 2000 feet and it is just so beautiful up there.

By the way nice gallery you have.
